What every mowing visit includes
One price per visit covers the whole job, not just the mowing.
Mowing
Cut to the right height for Kentucky bluegrass and tall fescue, the cool-season grasses most Lexington lawns are made of.
Edging
Clean lines along sidewalks, driveways, and beds.
String trimming
Around fences, trees, mailboxes, and beds, where the mower can't reach.
Blowing
Clippings blown off walks, driveways, and patios before we leave.
Clippings mulched
We mulch clippings back into the lawn, where they break down and return nutrients to the soil. Prefer them bagged? Just ask.
Lawn mowing prices and schedule
Price
Mowing starts at $40 per visit for a typical Lexington yard. Larger lots and steep slopes are quoted after we see the yard.
How often
Weekly, biweekly, or one-time. Weekly keeps grass healthiest during the spring growth surge. Biweekly can work when growth slows, but the cut is heavier, so pricing can differ.
Mowing day
Our regular mowing day is Saturday. If rain pushes the schedule back, we'll let you know and reschedule.
Season
We mow from April through October.
Add hedge trimming and fall leaf cleanup
Hedge trimming
Shrubs and hedges shaped and cleaned up, scheduled with your mowing or on its own.
Leaf cleanup
Light leaf cover is mulched into the lawn with the mower. Heavier leaves are blown and raked off the lawn and beds, then bagged at the curb for the city's yard-waste pickup. Haul-away is available on request. One-time or recurring through the fall.
Snow removal
When mowing season ends, we shovel driveways, walkways, steps, and sidewalks after 2 inches or more of snow.
